Ronda Sue Webb

Ronda Sue Posey Webb, 78, of Arlington, Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2024. 

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Wade Funeral Home & Crematory in Arlington. 

Ronda was born on December 10, 1946, in Matador, Texas to Charles and Susie Posey.

She graduated from Palo Duro High School in Amarillo, Texas in 1964. Shortly after, on June 2, 1965, Ronda married her high school sweetheart, Michael Earl Webb, and they shared 58 wonderful years of marriage. 

 During their early years together, Mike and Ronda lived in Hawaii while Mike served in the US Navy at Pearl Harbor. After Mike’s military service, the couple returned to Amarillo, and Ronda completed her Bachelors Degree at West Texas A&M University. In Amarillo, Ronda worked as a bank examiner and also supported her husband in their successful construction and real estate company. The couple eventually relocated to Arlington, Texas to be closer to their son and growing family. In her later career, Ronda became a Financial Intermediary for humanitarian projects, a role that reflected a deep commitment to helping others.

 Ronda’s greatest joy was spending time with Mike and their family: Eric their grandson and Briana their great granddaughter, Sierra, their granddaughter, Chase, Sierra’s husband and their great grandchildren; Chase Jr. and Brooklyn. She also cherished her friends that she referred to as her bonus family: Angela Schiffmacher, Brianna Sexton, Michealine Sexton, Axel Schiffmacher, and Angela’s mother, Jean Sexton. They provided both care and support for Ronda in her latter years. 

 Ronda enjoyed traveling, exploring both the US and abroad with Mike and their family. She enjoyed sharing stories about the places they visited and the people they had met. She also really enjoyed the work she was doing for various humanitarian projects, especially the people she worked with in these endeavors.

 Ronda is survived by her daughter-in-law, Jami Webb, grandson, Eric Miller, granddaughter & her husband, Sierra & Chase Owens, and her great grandchildren: Briana Miller and Chase Jr. and Brooklyn, Owens.

 Ronda is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Webb, her son, Todd Webb, her parents Charlie Posey and Susie Sain; her sister Rene Laughlin; and her brother Charles Posey.

 The family extends a special thank you to Brianna Sexton for the care and support she provided Ronda in the last year of her life. This allowed Ronda a quality of life that, otherwise, would have not been possible after the death of her husband.
