Ronald William Denning

Ronald William Denning, age 76 of Arlington, Texas passed away peacefully on March 16, 2023 after a valiant fight with cancer.

Ronald was born on November 14, 1946 in Frankfurt, New York to Ralph Mead and Virginia Denning. He attended Poland Central School in 1964 where he played trumpet in the band and the Drum and Bugle Corp. He also served as a Student Manager for the Poland Central School basketball team.

Upon graduation in 1964, Ronald enlisted in the United States Army and served there for 4 years. After leaving the Army, Ronald joined the United States Navy where he would serve honorably for more than 20 years.

Ronald was preceded in death by his father Ralph Mead and mother Virginia Denning.

He is survived by his sister Sherry Perry; step-brother Sean Bainbridge; step-sister Ingrid Jones; nephews Andrew Gagnon (wife Gena) and Michael Shannon; nieces Belinda Shannon (husband Chris Jeffreys), Joanne Taylor (husband Ken), and Amy Linn. Ronald is also survived by Dan Bullion, his close friend of more than 25 years.

Ronald will be remembered by many and he will be greatly missed. There will be a brief Graveside Service for Ronald at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on March 31 at 9:00am where he will receive Full Military Honors.
