ARLINGTON -- Ronald Keith Bond, 79, passed away Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, in Arlington.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: 2 p.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Lane A. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials: Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Ronald was born July 20, 1934, in Chickasha, Okla., to Lola Claire Blackwell and Donald Zane Bond. He graduated from the University of North Texas in 1955. He worked for Montgomery Ward for 35 years before retiring, while also serving in the United States Navy Reserve and retiring as a commander.
Ronald enjoyed hunting, fishing, flying and traveling.
Survivors: Wife of 56 years, Kay St. Clair Bond; sons, Ronald Keith Bond Jr. and Curtis St. Clair Bond; brother, Charles Bond and wife, Janie; sister, Janice Bean; grandchildren, Kelsey and Austin; sister-in-law, Suzanne Welborne; and numerous nieces and nephews.
