Butch was born Jan. 7, 1954, in Clinton, Ill., to Ronald Lee Donahower Sr. and Lona Arlene Koons Donahower. He opened his family's restaurant, Cokers Barbecue, on Valentine's Day in 1996 and was dedicated to its success. Butch spent years collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia as a hobby and proudly displayed it in the restaurant. Butch was known for being a mentor and father figure to many young people who came into his life. Many of his high school friends remained very close to him throughout the years. Being a hard-working man, he thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed his time with his granddaughter. This world will forever be a different place, as we have lost an amazing, loving man.
Butch was preceded in death by his father.
