ARLINGTON -- Roger Loren Koziol, 76, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016. Funeral Mass: 11 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 5819 W. Pleasant Ridge Rd., Arlington. Entombment: At a later date in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. Visitation: 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday prior to the mass at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Memorials: Memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society. Roger was born on Feb. 8, 1940, in Chicago, Ill., to Stanley and Jean Koziol. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. An Arlington resident since 1979, he was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Roger retired as a business manager in the communications industry. He was an avid Chicago Cubs baseball fan and Chicago Bears football fan. He enjoyed Frank Lloyd Wright Architecture. Roger is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors: Wife of 50 years, Josephine Kaczkowski Koziol; son, Loren S. Koziol and wife, Jenny; daughters, Andrea K. Harvick, Kristie L. Shumate and Claudia N. Koziol; sister, Audrienne Dillman and husband, Earl; and grandchildren, Tanner, Chandler, Coy, David, Kaylee, Chloe, Dominic and Thompson. Wade Family Funeral Home Arlington, 817-274-9233
