Robert Woods III, a beloved member of the Arlington community, passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 65. He was born on April 30, 1958, in Flint, MI to the late Robert Woods Jr. and Susie Mae Woods.

Robert pursued his passions and found success as a dedicated employee at General Motors for over 40 years. Known for his unwavering work ethic, Robert displayed an unparalleled commitment to his craft. He worked tirelessly, often putting in seven days a week, until his health declined.

Robert was a man of many passions. He enjoyed driving and traversing the open road, exploring new destinations whenever he could. He had an ear for music and a rhythm in his step, always finding solace in the melodies and beats that filled his home. His selflessness and compassion exemplified his character, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him. He relished in the beauty of nature, finding solace and joy in the vibrant colors and fragrant aromas of different flowers.
