FORT WORTH -- Robert Raymond Leville, 73, passed away Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015, in Dallas.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: 11:15 p.m. Monday, Jan. 11, in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, at the funeral home.
Robert was born Dec. 19, 1942, in Winthrop, Mass., to Charles Leville and Jennie L. Catavalo Leville. He served in the U.S. Army as a chemical staff specialist. Robert worked as a federal police officer for Homeland Security Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
He was a member of the American Legion-Malden from 1972-1983, the Whitman Jaycees from 1978-2007 and the International Brotherhood of Police Officers as president.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Jennie Leville; sister, Phyllis Leville; and father-in-law, Arthur Nummelin.
Survivors: Wife, Maija Leville; daughter, Nancy Watkins and husband, Paul; brother, Charles G. Leville and wife, Barbara; sisters, Janet R. Murray, Sandra Fulti and husband, George, and Edna Marchetti and husband, Anthony; mother-in-law, Kerttu Nummelin; and numerous other family members and friends.
