ARLINGTON -- Robert "Bob" Michael Cave, loving husband and father and gifted teacher, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 28, 2014, in Mansfield.
Memorial service: 1 p.m. Wednesday at The Village Church, 2100 Morrison Drive, Fort Worth.

Bob was born June 3, 1957, in Washington, Iowa, to Robert Eugene and Clara Elizabeth Cave. A longtime Arlington resident, Bob served in ministries from 1985 to present as an associate pastor and later as a lay minister. Those churches included Park Springs Bible Church, Midlothian Bible Church and, most recently, The Village Church of Fort Worth, where he was a member.
Bob also worked at Lockheed Martin since 1994 as system analyst. His hobbies included woodworking, camping, backpacking and ham radios. His true passion was preaching, teaching Bible classes and spending time with his family.
Bob was preceded in death by his father; and sister, Karen Carter.
Survivors: Wife of 35 years, Sandy Cave; daughter, Elisa Marie Cave; son, Brian Andrew Cave and wife, Amanda Paige Hennessy Cave; mother, Clara Elizabeth Cave; brother, Roger Cave and wife, Julia; sisters, Linda and Cathy Cave; and a host of family and friends.
