Robert Matthew Straka, 56, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017 in Arlington, Texas.
Graveside Service: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 28, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Lane 3. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Monday, November 27, at Wade Family Funeral Home Chapel, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
Rob was born in Hartford, Connecticut on May 14, 1961 to Robert Francis and Joan Jacobson Straka. He worked as a mechanic in the Air Force and afterwards as a computer analyst and technician. He dedicated his life working hard and honestly. Rob always received compliments from the people who worked with him.
Rob was married to his surviving and loving wife for almost 9 years, Felomina Zamora Straka. He had a little buddy dog named Rocky. Rob will be missed by all those who loved him, especially his loving wife.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents; a brother, Michael David Straka; sister, June Marie Straka; and brother, Kevin Paul Straka.
Survivors: Loving wife, Felomina “Mai Mai” Zamora Straka; parents-in-law, Joaquin and Linda Naquitquitan; sisters-in-law, Tanya Lee Straka, Ma Fe Calunsag, Mary Grace Naquitquitan, Julie Sevilleno, Exelda Tupal, and Jean Clare Jasangas; brother's in-law, Francisco Calambro, Leo Naquitquitan, Ireneo Calumsag, Jovanie Monares, Johnny Sevilleno; nephews, Jayson Dave, Kristian, J.M., Jake and Robbie; nieces, Ivy, Katrina and Ysabelle; step-mother-in-law, Kitty Straka; and numerous other relatives and friends.
