Robert Lee “Bobby” Brown , 86, passed away at home on Sunday, April 11, 2021 in Arlington, Texas. Visitation 10am -11am and Memorial Service 11am Friday , April 16, 2021 at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W Pioneer Parkway, Arlington , Texas with Dr. Chris Hayes officiating. Burial at 2 p.m. at Blue Mound Methodist Church Cemetery in Denton. Memorial gifts may be made to the Humane Society of North Texas. Bobby was born on March 15, 1935 in Borger, Texas and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. He graduated from Polytechnic High School and then went on to study at The University of Texas Arlington and then joined the Navy. After the Navy he settled in Arlington , Texas with the love of his life Verna Mae Linenschmidt in 1956. Bobby retired from LTV even after retirement and his love for Airplanes he would return to LTV to help instruct others on how to repair the planes he worked on and loved. If you knew Bobby you knew his love for his Poodles and his classic (vintage) pickup truck and convertible. He was a member of the Lone Star Region of Vintage Chevrolet Club of America. He was a Proud Texan and loved his State. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Joann Brown. Survivors: Wife, Verna L Brown of 63 years, and 3 nephews.
