Robert Arenas Manriquez, 70, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2019 in Arlington. Funeral: 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, at City of Lubbock Cemetery, Lubbock. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 22, at the funeral home. Robert was born on January 1, 1949 in Lubbock, Texas to Philip Manriquez and Cipriana Arenas Manriquez. He was very well loved and had many, many friends. He was the best brother his siblings could hope for. Robert was incredibly loyal and extremely humble. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Manriquez Jr.; and brothers, Pete Manriquez and Joe Manriquez. Survivors: Wife of 30 years, Elvira Cruz; daughters, D'Andrea Cruz and Natalie Manriquez; brother, Willie Manriquez; sisters, Dorothy Fike and husband, Glen, Lydia Lovato and husband, Daniel and Lucy Gonzalez; and a host of friends.
