Robert “Bob” Allen Kriesman, 81, of Arlington, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019. When Robert found out he had Cancer, he sought every reasonable medication and procedure to restore health and maintain a good quality of life. When it became clear that this wasn't possible, Robert moved on to palliative care in his home that would enable him to have a brief window of time back at his place of comfort.
Service: A “Celebration Of Life” service will be held at 3:00pm, Sunday, September 22nd at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Hall in Arlington, Tx.
Historical: Robert was born September 13, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from West Tech High School in Cleveland and attended Ohio State University. Robert and Ann Marie met in 1957 during summer vacation at Catawba Island, Ohio. They were married on May 2, 1959 in Cleveland, Ohio and their marriage lasted for 60+ years until his passing. Robert started his young career working as a Draftsman. In his early 20's, he decided to perform his service obligation as a Sergeant in the Army and started a family with Ann Marie. After the Army, he worked for an extended time as a Plant Engineer and Office Manager for ESB (now Exide), during which time his family moved across the country: Ohio, Pennsylvania and California, before settling in Texas. Rather than be transferred again, Robert left his job at ESB and found his life's calling by working with his late friend Bill Glidewell in turning around financially struggling companies. He also founded his own company ARK Vending, which maintained a large vending presence in the DFW area. Pleasure: Robert's greatest joy was spending time with his large family and travelling. Robert, Ann and their 4 boys have been to nearly all 50 states during various vacations.

The first sentence in Robert's memoir mentions his largest life moments as “Getting married to a wonderful wife and raising four boys that any father would be proud of”. Those were the words he continued to echo to his family in his last few weeks.
