Rita Yvonne Ryan

Rita Yvonne Ryan, age 68 passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, on Sunday, May 31, 2020, with her husband by her side at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington, Texas. She was a member of Arlington Community Church. Services: Family, friends and others whose lives were touched by Yvonne are invited to attend a Memorial on Friday at 2:00 pm, June 25, 2021, at Arlington Community Church to remember, reminisce and celebrate this wonderful, sweet and loving soul who is now in Heaven. Yvonne was born February 23, 1952 in Lafayette, Indiana to George W. and Dorothy (Odle) Fry. She was a 1970 graduate of Seeger High School, West Lebanon, Indiana. Her career as a personal and commercial lines insurance agent, where she led by example and enjoyed applying her talents for organization, mentoring and training others. Yvonne lived a full and compassionate life, keeping in close touch with her family and friends. She had a special way to reach and influence people in profound and meaningful ways and was an example of how one person can have affirmative effects on others toward leading a positive and satisfying life. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Gina. She is survived by her husband, Alex Ryan, three sons; Jason Winkles, Jeremy Winkles and Phillip Young, two grandchildren; Hayley Winkles and Hunter Winkles and two sisters Suzanne (Fry) Mckinzie and Lisa (Fry) Harris.
