Scott Fielder, 38, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at his family's ranch in Stephens County. Funeral Mass: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 10, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 5819. W. Pleasant Ridge Road, Arlington. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park, Kennedale. Memorials: Donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity, Boys and Girls Club or Special Olympics. Scott was born on January 11, 1980 in Arlington to David Fielder and Peggy Fielder. He attended Ditto, Young, and Martin High School in the Arlington School District. He played “Bears” football at Ditto Elementary. He played football for Young Jr. High and Martin High School. Although Scott was a graduate of TCU, he was a lifelong Texas Longhorn fan. He worked for T.D. Ameritrade after graduating. Scott enjoyed the outdoors. He and his friends loved to hunt, fish, kayak and bike. Scott enjoyed watching and coaching his children, Natalie and Nathan, in soccer, basketball, and volleyball. They were his life. He volunteered for Habitat for Humanity, Boys and Girls Club, and Special Olympics. He always had a joke and a smile on his face. When he was present, he was the life of the party. He was a good friend to everyone and a wonderful father. Scott's smiling face, and loving nature will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Survivors: Parents, Peggy and David Fielder; daughter, Natalie; son, Nathan; brothers, Matthew Fielder and wife, Laurie and Ryan Fielder and wife, Jessica; niece, Claire Fielder; nephews, David, Ben, Luke and William Fielder; and former wife and best friend, Linsey.
