Richard Larry Cottongame, 61, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017 in Fort Worth. Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 29, at Wade Funeral Home Hubbard, 201 NW 3rd St., Hubbard. Interment: Dawson Cemetery, Navarro County. Richard was born on July 20, 1955 to Clyde Cottongame and Polly Ruth Yates Cottongame. A resident of Fort Worth for the past 55 years, he retired from Miller Brewing Co. after 40 plus years of service. He enjoyed fishing on his boat, and his cabin in Port Aransas. Survivors: Father Clyde Cottongame Sr. of Dawson; daughter, Stephanie Reynolds of Joshua; brothers, Clyde Cottongame Jr. and wife, Joni, and Glenn Cottongame and wife, Helene; granddaughters, Christine Wilson and Jordan Reynolds; and brother-in-law, Joel Hancock; nieces and nephews, Seth Cottongame, Ben and Kim Cottongame, Misty Cottongame, Jimmy Cottongame, Angela Balderas, Brian and Jennifer Hancock, and Erin and David Lee; and a host of family and friends.
