In Loving Memory of Richard Eugene Crow
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Eugene Crow, a beloved brother, son, and friend. Richard was born on June 13, 1958, in Fort Worth, Texas, and peacefully departed from this world on September 9, 2023, at the age of 65.

Richard was a man of many passions and interests. He had a deep love for fishing, spending countless hours casting lines and enjoying the serenity of the water. His skill and dedication even earned him the record for the largest bass caught at Lake Fork in East, Texas. Richard’s love for the sport was matched only by his fondness for boats, finding solace in cruising the open waters.

Beyond fishing, Richard had an unwavering devotion to baseball, particularly the Texas Rangers. From his early days playing in little league to his unwavering support for the team in the minor leagues, Richard’s love for the game knew no bounds. His enthusiasm and loyalty to his favorite players were admired by many, as he could always be found cheering from the stands or discussing game stats with fellow fans.

However, Richard will be remembered not only for his hobbies but also for his remarkable character. He possessed a genuine warmth and kindness that endeared him to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Richard’s loyalty to his friends was unwavering, and his presence in their lives was a true blessing. He was a person who would always lend a helping hand and provide a listening ear whenever needed.

Richard is survived by his loving sister, Vicki Gapiniski, and his devoted mother, Carolyn Springman, both of whom will forever cherish the memories they shared with him. They, along with his countless friends, mourn Richard’s loss and find solace in their fond recollections of his companionship.

A memorial service will be held in Richard’s honor on September 23, 2023, at Wade Family Funeral Home in Belle Hall in Fort Worth, Texas, commencing at 2:00 pm. This gathering of friends and family will offer an opportunity to celebrate Richard’s life, share stories, and find strength and solace in each other’s presence.

In this time of grief and remembrance, let us honor Richard’s memory by embracing the kindness he showed to others, the love he had for his passions, and the joy he brought into our lives. May his spirit find eternal peace, and may we find comfort in the lasting impact he had on our lives.

Rest in peace, dear Richard. You will be deeply missed, but your memory will forever live on in our hearts.
