Richard Diaz

Richard Diaz, of Arlington, Tx, passed away on Sunday May 9, 2021 in Arlington, Tx. He will always be remembered as a loving son, husband, father, brother, friend and colleague to all that knew and loved him. He was born on Sunday August 10, 1958 in San Antonio, Tx to Robert and Mary Lou Diaz. Richard attended Jefferson Middle School, Grand Prairie High School, and South Grand Prairie High School. Richard and Isabel got married on Monday, October 27, 1986. He loved working on cars and loved spending time with his grandkids. He really enjoyed being an usher at Crossroads Church in Grand Prairie. He also loved going on mission trips to Puerto Rico and Costa Rica. Richard is survived by his wife, Isabel A. Diaz; daughters, Patricia Simpson and Jennifer Becht; grandchildren, David Thomas Simpson, Andrew Simpson, and Viktor Becht; mother, Mary Lou Diaz; sister, Maggie Alvarado; brothers, Danny Diaz and Bobby Diaz; aunts, Minnie Soto, Yolanda Diaz; uncles, Gilbert Carmona, Rene Carmona; nephews, Andy Alvarado, Adrian Diaz, Robert Diaz III, Christopher Diaz, Gage Diaz, Gabriel Diaz; nieces, Ruby Diaz and Ryan Diaz. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Diaz and nephew Arthur Jr. Alvarado. The Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00pm on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Wade Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Wade Funeral Home Chapel.
