Richard Allen Rose, 62, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 in Arlington.
Funeral: 4:00 p.m. Saturday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
Visitation: 2-4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Richard was born on October 17, 1954 in Homestead, Pennsylvania to Richard Allen Rose Sr. and Martha Rose Slaine. He was raised in Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania and graduated with a Master's Degree in Business from Duquesne University. Richard worked for over decades in healthcare as a member of the Human Resources department for Forbes Regional Hospital, JPS Hospital, and Cook Children's Hospital. He has been an Arlington resident since 1999. He married the love of his life, Norma Jean Verzinski on November 7, 1987. This November would have been their 30th year anniversary. Richard was an avid American History buff, admirer of trains and steam engines, and fun-loving family man who enjoyed spending time with his wife and two kids. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Allen Rose Sr.; mother, Martha Slaine Rose; and father-in-law, Calvin Verzinski.
Survivors: Wife of 29 years, Norma Jean Rose; daughters, Crystal Lee Picca and husband, Mark, April Rose, and long-time boyfriend, Dylan Rucker; sisters, Gretchen Fuller and Cindy Fudge; mother-in-law, Shirley Verzinski; brothers-in-law, Johnny Verzinski and Calvin Verzinski; and his beloved dogs, Tinkerbell and Coco.
