Reggie was born on April 25, 1956 in Woodland, North Carolina to Floyd and Elaine Grant. A man of high integrity and service, he graduated from West Point Military Academy and proudly served in the U.S. Army. After 27 years of service, Reggie retired as a Colonel from the Army Reserves. Developing weapon systems to support soldiers in combat remained his passion as he worked at Lockheed Martin for 31 years. He was known for pursuing excellence in all aspects of his life, inspiring others to follow in his footsteps.

Reggie loved God, his family, and his country. He enjoyed sailing, ballroom dancing, traveling, and driving his red Miata. Dressing up for any occasion, Reggie loved wearing bow ties. He loved to take his girls shopping and enjoyed spending as much time as possible with all of them.

Reggie was always a gentleman. He was warm, kind, and charismatic. A great listener and mentor to many, he genuinely cared about others well-being. Reggie’s legacy as a compassionate leader lives on with all who knew him. He was courageous, resilient and never complained while battling cancer. Through his “never surrender” attitude, Reggie persevered and continued to enjoy life. Reggie dearly loved his family and brought joy into everyone’s lives. He always left you feeling a little brighter after speaking with you, and will be deeply missed by all.
