Regina Kaye Waller

August 16, 1953 — December 31, 2021

Regina Kaye Waller – known to family and friends as “Kaye Baby” – began her magnificent journey on August 16, 1953.
She was born to the late Andrew (A.C.) Waller and Cordell Lenford and spent her youth in Hamlin, TX with her beloved grandmother, Ellen Waller and brother, Rickey Waller.

Regina later moved to Dallas, TX where she completed a business degree at El Centro College and married David Andrews, her husband of 39 years on April 19, 1982.

She devoted herself to her family, including, but not limited to, her daughters, her beloved father and aunts. Regina never let an opportunity escape to provide love and guidance to all that crossed her path. She took care to emphasize the values of honesty, integrity and hard work in her home. Additionally, she lived a life in service to her community, volunteering her time to aid the homeless and to tutor the children in her neighborhood.
She passed away on December 31, 2021 surrounded by her devoted daughters and will always be remembered as a kind and generous soul.

Regina leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, David Andrews, her two daughters, Yvette Waller (Janel) and Toni Andrews (Adam), grandchildren, Christopher White and Saniya Davis, great-grandchildren, Jayden White and Tamaya Schwabe, brothers, Tommie W. Waller (Renee), Cleo Waller, Chatney Waller, Andrew Gage, and Ernest Lenford Jr., her beloved sister-in-law, Alicia Waller and aunt, Vivian Jordan, along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in her memory made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
