Rafael Herrera Jr

January 23, 1986 — March 15, 2024

Rafael Junior Herrera Beloved husband and father passed away on March 15, 2024 at the age of 38. He was born on January 23, 1986 in Tampico Tamaulipas Mexico.

He is survived by his wife America L. Garza Hdz. from Herrera; his children, Matthew, Rafael D., Natalie, Ariel, James, Ramsy, Marco A. and Julio; his parents Amparo Herrera, Rafael Herrera; his siblings, Ivan, Gisela.

Junior, as many knew him, grew up his first two years in Tampico after his parents emigrated to the United States. He spent his childhood in Grand Prairie, Texas. Over the years, they moved to the Valley and currently live in Arlington, Texas.

He graduated as an automotive mechanic from Lincoln Tech in 2005, studying, working and being a father for the first time. He managed his time to do what he could and raise his daughters. The relationship didn’t work out but he stayed up to date of his daughters.

Junior, a tenacious man and willing to face anything at the age of 21, decides to start a family and raise 4 children who were not his responsibility, not forgetting his daughters, but he did not care and he loved them as if they were his own. blood. He taught them to be good men and above all to be responsible. His love and dedication to his family is what kept him on his feet even though he recently found out that he had to have surgery on his back, that fracture discovered by accident. Despite the fact that he was afraid of surgeries, he was determined to have the operation and all thinking about the well-being of himself and his family. Unfortunately, he suffered a terrible accident and that will no longer be possible.

Junior, with the profession he practiced, received many calls requesting his services as a mechanic, no matter the time if he was available he would come to the rescue.
Junior didn’t care who you were, if someone on the road needed assistance, he offered his help without receiving anything in return. He only thought that if one day he needed help, God would send it to him. That’s how it was and Rafael Junior thought with a big heart and without resentment in him.

Junior, with a very dreamy spirit and many talents, had a way of visualizing things very quickly, an amazing mind that not many noticed and understood and even though there were obstacles in his life, he found a way to break them down and got what he wanted.
On September 13, 2020, Rafael Junior Herrera made a very important decision in his life: he accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and was baptized. Since then, he trusts in God and his promises.

Junior’s passion as his family and friends know was cars and motorcycles, anything that involved cars. You could have long talks about that topic and he never got bored. He also had a very comical way of telling stories. He loved to talk. You could talk to him about different topics for hours. Junior enjoyed going on vacation with his family. He was fascinated by nature and the sea.

Rafael Junior’s family fully appreciates his support and prayers in these difficult moments full of pain.

His wife and children will remember him with love forever and carry his legacy with great pride and gratitude for being the great man he was. Rest in peace Rafael Junior Herrera.
