Quentin Eselman Brooks

Quentin Eselman Brooks, 99, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at his home in Forest Hill, Tx. Quentin was born on April 22, 1918 to Homer and Blanche (Stephens) Brooks, in Capitan, New Mexico. After high school graduation and earned his Associates Degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. He entered the service in August, 1942 and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He married Doris Helen Payne and after leaving the service he worked in sales, and was an avid antique collector and enjoyed finding "treasures" at flea markets. Quentin and Doris moved to Forest Hill, Tx in 1973 and raised 2 children, daughter, Robin and son, Manuel. He was predeceased by his wife, Doris in 2006. Survivors include daughter, Robin Gaishin and husband, Stan; son, Manuel Brooks; grandchildren, Stephanie, Noah, Aaron, Lynn and Karrie; great-grandchildren Kali, Sophia and Payton.
