Philip Martin Loveless

Philip M. Loveless passed away peacefully on Friday, October 1 at his home in Arlington. Phil was born on February 3, 1945 in Warren, Ohio to Colonel Philip Loveless Jr. and Virginia Loveless. After graduating from Sidney Lanier High School in 1963 he later enrolled at Kent State University where he met and married Linda Rankin Loveless in 1968. Phil graduated with a business degree and was at the same time commissioned as an officer in the US Air Force. He was chosen for the AFIT program and attended Indiana University where he graduated with a Master's degree in Business. During his years in the military he served as a Radar Navigator on a B-52 until he left the Air Force in 1975. He took pride in being a veteran and continued throughout his lifetime to support the military. In 1975 he began his thirty year career with American Hospital Supply (Cardinal Health) and became a top selling medical supply salesman for the company. Phil was an outgoing, upbeat person and was loved and respected by all who knew him. Phil was a devoted husband and father. He and Linda were married for over 53 years . Together they loved traveling, spending time with family and friends, boating and spending time at the beach and in the country side of Hico, Texas. Phil dearly loved his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Linda, and sons : Kevin Loveless of Grand Prairie, Kirk Loveless (wife Susan) of Granbury and his daughter, Jennifer Loveless Hill (husband John) of Arlington. He had four grandchildren whom he adored: Cameron, Ashley, Katelyn and Gavin. A memorial service will be held for Phil on Thursday, November 4, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington at 2 P. M. Interment: DFW National Cemetery on November 5.
