Philip A. Chimens, age 57 of Arlington, Texas, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022 after a short battle with cancer.
Philip was born May 31, 1965 in Teaneck, New Jersey. His family moved to Chicago when he was a young boy and this is where he grew up. On July 8, 1995 he married Kimberly Jean Kirby at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church in Euless, Texas. His work as a general manager in the restaurant industry moved them around the country. Kimberly passed away on June 17, 2018 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Philip moved back to Arlington, Texas to be close to his sister, Julie Crimmins, brother in-law, Tim Crimmins, and nephew, Nick Crimmins.
Philip enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking and his Harley’s. He will be sorely missed by those that knew him and loved him. He was preceded in death by his father Alexander S. Chimerns and mother Evelyn Chimens.
