Peter was born Aug. 1, 1946, in Schenectady, N.Y., to Stanley and Helena Piotrowski. As a child, he developed a love for sports, family and fun, and this good nature showed in his everyday life. Peter married Carol D'Agostino in 1968 and graduated in 1969 from the Rochester Institute of Technology where he was an active member of Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity. He went on to have a successful career as a mechanical engineer designing golf clubs, golf balls and golf shafts for Aldila, Ben Hogan, MacGregor and Wilson.
Peter enjoyed volunteering, playing golf, watching sports and, most of all, spending time with his wife; three sons, William, David and Jonathan; and two grandsons, Aidan and Alec. He participated and held various leadership roles in the Arlington West Rotary Club, where he, for the past 11 years, coordinated an annual golf tournament to provide scholarships to students at Martin High School and the Venture School in Arlington.
The family wishes to thank Community Hospice of Texas, a remarkable group of individuals who provided exceptional care at Arlington Memorial Hospital.
Survivors: Wife, Carol; sister, Barbara Brady of Delanson, N.Y.; son, William and his wife, Michelle, of Ventura, Calif.; son, David and his wife, Lexy, and their two sons, Aidan and Alec, of Dallas; son, Jon and his wife, Alexis, of Austin; and numerous friends.
