Peter Dewitt Green

Peter DeWitt Green, 76 of Arlington, Texas passed away on March 15, 2024. Born on May 20, 1947, in Quanah, Texas, he was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Peter is survived by his wife, Cecile Cobb, his son Chelly Green, stepdaughters Erin Landis, and husband Scott and Anne Stovall, and grandchildren Annie and Gatlin Landis. He is also survived by a sister Marianne Marugg, brother Patrick Green and sister Teresa Howard.

Peter attended Texas A&M University. He then served in the Navy and was a proud veteran. After his military service, he graduated with a degree in Architecture from the University of Texas. After working at several architecture firms he then enjoyed a career as an architectural illustrator. Peter grew up in Stamford, Texas and graduated from High School from Abilene Cooper in 1965.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents AD and Sammye Green, his sister Catherine and his brother Jim.

A funeral service to celebrate Peter’s life will be held at Wade Family Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 2:00 PM. Prior to the service, visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
