Paula DeLane Fanning passed away in Arlington, Texas on October 15, 2022 after a long and courageous battle with Early-Onset Alzheimer’s.
Paula was born on February 15, 1964 in Chanute, Kansas. She was a joy to everyone who met her. She was a loving mother and daughter who loved sports and all animals…especially horses and dogs. She always had a smile on her face and enjoyed life. She was a thoughtful, caring, always putting others first type of person. She could take a dark room and make it shine with her iconic laugh just like her sister’s. She never failed to show lack of effort in anything she did and loved her family to no end. She was the essence of compassion, COMPETITIVENESS, love and happiness. She left a mark in her short time here but will live eternally above with everyone else enjoying each other’s company and there is no doubt in my mind that spoons (card game) will be thrown around in heaven!
Paula was preceded in death by her father Paul Lindblad and sister Cindy Lindblad Moore.
She is survived by her mother Kathy Lindblad, son Aaron Fanning and brother Troy Lindblad.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Paula at 11:00am on November 19 at St. John Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 6007 W Pleasant Ridge Rd, Arlington, TX 76016. Inurnment will follow at a later date and time at Emerald Hills Memorial Park in Kennedale, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation in Paula’s honor to Guardian Angels Care Home, 3501 Quail Lane, Arlington, TX, 76016.
