Paul R. Davisson

EULESS -- Paul R. Davisson, 93, passed away on Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, in Euless. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Church of the Nazarene, 1301 W. Green Oaks Blvd., Arlington, with Rev. Clint Benn, Dr. David Downs and Pastor James Robertson officiating. Interment: 3 p.m. Wednesday at Cathedral in the Pines, Tyler. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Honorary pallbearers: Ben Williams, Dan Hurley, Dan Bush, Richard Mead, Brad Browne and Norman Steadman. Paul was born on Jan. 21, 1922, in Parkersburg, W.Va. He was a World War II U.S. Army staff sergeant. Paul resided in Tyler for 20 years prior to residing in Euless for the past 10 years. He retired from Falcon Mfg. Co., Furniture Builders and Distributors. Paul was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Arlington. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Vesta Davisson. Survivors: Son, Dan Davisson and wife, Karen; grandchildren, Brian Davisson and wife, Aneela, and Stephanie Syler; great-grandchildren, Landry Grace Syler and Parker Graham Syler.
