Paul Perez

Paul Perez, age 79, passed away on December 9, 2022.

Paul was born in Goliad, Texas on November 16, 1943, to Pablo and Estropia Perez.

Paul married the love of his life, Beatrice Perez on March 22, 1975.

Paul was a devoted family man with a huge heart and a great sense of humor. He developed a love for football while playing halfback for his six man football team in high school. He cheered on the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers, and he loved watching his kids and grandkids play their sports. Paul welcomed all into his home and was always there for his friends and family. Paul was a devout Catholic and regularly attended Mass throughout his life. He served as an usher at his church in Lamesa, Texas and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Paul was also a charter member of the Mesa Lions Club in Lamesa, Texas.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Beatrice Jimenez Perez, daughters, Debi Chapa, Corina Valerio and her husband, David Montoya, AnaLisa Robledo and her husband, Christopher Robledo; brother, Luis Perez and Dawn; sister, Sophia Caballero and husband Richard; grandchildren Joseph, Myka, Lori, Sarah, Erica, Bre, Kaylee, Nathaniel, and Ethan; step granddaughters, Jessica and Jaylene; 2 great-grandsons, Aaron and Mateo; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held December 14, 2022 from to 6:00 – 8:oo pm at Wade Family Funeral Home in Arlington. Funeral Mass will be held December 15th, 11:00 am at St. Matthews Catholic Church in Arlington. A Graveside service will follow at 1:00 pm at Emerald Hills Memorial Park in Kennedale.
