Paul N Harvey

Paul Harvey, 92, of Arlington, TX, passed away on January 25, 2024.

Paul was born on December 31, 1931 in Chattanooga, TN. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the US Army and went on to become a Chief Warrant Officer and helicopter pilot where he honorably served his country in the Vietnam Conflict.

While in Vietnam, Paul met and married “Bea” Harvey in 1967 and they remained married for 56 years.

After his military service Paul’s love of aviation lead him to a successful career in aviation working for Aviall, Lycoming and Textron as an aviation technical support manager and was a jet turbine engine expert. Although Bea and Paul never had children together, they shared two sons, Michael and Dan from a previous marriage along with Bea’s extended family. Another love of Paul’s over the years was his dogs Ben, Abso, Oscar, Sheba, and Tiger. After retiring in 1997 Paul and Bea purchased a motorhome and traveled across the south making many friends and found a love of sunny Florida. He spent his time there building and selling homes and went on to build him and Bea a place of their own in Tittusville, FL where they enjoyed the great friendships of other retired professionals. They shared their time with family and friends between their homes in Texas and Florida. Paul was an avid photographer, loved working with and collecting unique knives and spent his later years enjoying the technology era of social media and the internet along with driving his Tesla X. He loved his family dearly and put his heart and soul into being the best friend anyone could have.

Paul was predeceased by his parents, his brother and oldest son. He is survived by his wife Bea, son Mike and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
