Paul Lester Shaffer

Paul Lester “Pete” Shaffer Jr., 64, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 in Arlington. Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 31, at North Davis Church of Christ, 1601 N. Davis Drive, Arlington. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Corinthian Fund at North Davis Church of Christ. Pete was born on December 19, 1953 in Big Spring, TX to Paul Lester Shaffer and Rose Nelle Parks Shaffer. He graduated from Texas A&M University Class of '76. Pete worked with The Beck Group Company for 31 years and spent the past 5 years with Austin Commercial. He was a longtime member of North Davis Church of Christ. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and awesome PawPaw. Pete is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Rosie Shaffer. Survivors: Wife of 39 years, Darilynn Jo Stewart Shaffer; son, Jeffrey Shaffer; daughters, Stephanie Stone and husband, Richard, and Amy LaMar and husband, Will; brother, Bob Shaffer and wife, Dee; grandchildren, Mackenzee LaMar, Hayden LaMar, Parker LaMar, Bristol Stone and Ely Stone.
