Paul Grant Saddler, 96, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 15, at The Oaks Baptist Church, 801 E Interstate 20, Grand Prairie.
Paul was born on November 16, 1920 in Grapeville, Pennsylvania to John W. Saddler and Myrta Simmers Saddler. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in Africa, Italy, and the European Campaign; surviving the Battle of the Bulge. Paul was a combat engineer and received 4 Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart for his service. He graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with a BA degree in Accounting. Paul worked as a Right of Way Agent for Texas Electric Service Co. for many years. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Arlington. He moved to Moore, Oklahoma in 2001 where he joined the First Baptist Church Moore and later moved to Norman, Oklahoma.
Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Ring Bondurant Saddler.
Survivors: Daughter, Linda Saddler MacLean and husband, Bob; grandchildren, Taiki Alexander and husband, Jacob and Paul Grant MacLean; and great-grandchildren, Baylee, Cason and Ryan.
