Yvonne was born on January 16, 1954 in Corpus Christi, TX to David Clifton Summa and Ethel Hazell Lambert.
In 1971, Yvonne graduated from Antilles High School in Fort Buchanan, Puerto Rico. She later attended Cisco Junior College, followed by Graphic Design at Tarrant County College 1979-81.
She retired in 2018 as a Sign Shop Manager and Graphic Artist from Buyers Barricades, Richland Hills, TX.
To know Yvonne was to love Yvonne. She made friends for life. A true Artist at heart and could draw and design wonderful art for any occasion. She brought a smile to anyone's face and lit up a room with hers. A genuine and infectious laugh and enjoyed sharing animated stories from her life experiences along with Patty.
You could find Yvonne outside in her garden oasis, enjoying her crystal tree, taking care of her dragon, raising Monarch butterflies and providing a cute bird house for birds to raise their families each year.
Her love for the great outdoors and delicious food knew no limits. She was a participant and a judge for three years running at the Hogeye Festival for the BBQ Pork Cook Off and the Hogalicious Dessert Contest, which brought home a trophy or two for her entries. She had a love for Renaissance Festivals, live music, reading and always had a beer in her hand.
She will be missed beyond measure; That's what she said!
