Pamela Lynn Parker

December 10, 1948 — August 25, 2024

Arlington

Pamela Parker passed away on August 25, 2024, at the home of her son and his family, in Arlington, TX. Born on December 10, 1948, in Hereford, TX, Pamela was the daughter of Richard and Virginia Winget.

After growing up in Hereford, she moved to Arlington to attend UTA. Attending college, she met and eventually married Lester Parker, with whom she had her only child, Chase. Pam’s determination and entrepreneurial spirit led her to successfully operate her own design business as a single mother until her retirement.

Pam extended her love not just to her family, but also to April, her daughter-in-law whom she cherished dearly. Pam's devotion to her family was evident in the care and support she received from April during her illness.

Pam's life was filled with memorable moments spent with family and friends, from snorkeling in the Caribbean to relaxing in the mountain regions of New Mexico, where she was able to indulge in her favorite pastime of playing blackjack. Like her mother, Virginia, she expressed her vibrant personality through her style, always impeccably dressed, with her hair perfectly styled, and nails always manicured.

She relocated back to her hometown of Hereford to care for her mother after her father's passing and during that time, reunited with old friends, hosting game nights and enjoying weekly movie nights with her brother, Wayne. She eventually returned to Arlington to enjoy time with her family and grandchildren following her mother's passing.

She is survived by her son, Chase Parker, and wife, April; grandchildren, Brandon and Audrey Parker; brothers, Wayne Winget and Craig Griffith; and her beloved dog, Sam.

In remembrance of Pam, the family kindly asks for donations or volunteer work towards animal rescue organizations, a cause close to Pamela's heart.
