Ozite Lynn (Clostio) Primeaux “MeMe-Gram-Sis” April 09, 1923 – August 25, 2016 Ozite Lynn (Clostio) Primeaux passed away peacefully at her residence on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 3:45 pm with loved ones by her side. She was 95 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul Primeaux. Lynn was a native of Kaplan, LA; longtime resident of Port Sulphur, LA; and for the last 23 years a resident of Arlington, TX. She was a member of St. Ann's Altar Society; St. Ann's Rosary Group; St. Patrick's Food Committee; St. Vincent de Paul Society; American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 193; Les Belle Dames; and Tuesday Quilters. She was the mother of three: Brenda Gail Primeaux Burley (Steve), Raywood Paul Primeaux (Linda); and the late Edward Primeaux. She was the grandmother of ten: Lawrence Scott Burley (Missi), William Frye Burley (Mandi), Katelyn Nicole Burley, Clayton Ray Primeaux (Liz Silver Jackson), April Marie Primeaux Silver Davenport (Lenny), Lisa Clare Primeaux Wells (Gary), Erica Joan Primeaux, and the late Thomas Anthony Primeaux, Troy Edward Primeaux, and Mark Joseph Primeaux. She had ten great-grandchildren: Lorelai Elisabeth Burley, Cheyanne Madelyn Primeaux, Thomas Anthony Primeaux (Andrea), Melissa Marie Silver, Dawn Michelle Silver, Heather Ann Silver, Jason Wells, Shawn Lee Bell, Jolie Nicole Price (Amanda Lucken), and Eric Joseph Primeaux. She was also the great-great-grandmother of six: Nola Renee Primeaux, Zoe Maree Bell, Braxton Lee Bell, Adalynn Margaret Bell, Odin Kai Price Berg, and Lennon Ray Price Lucken. She was the godmother of five: Janelle Marie Dartez, Judy Ann Clostio Abshire, Kathy Marie Vedalier, GayNell Moore Hebert, and the late Lucas Paul Vedalier. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney Clostio and the former Marie Aurelia Hanks. She was the sister and sister-in-law of the late: Otto Clostio (Ida), Otis Clostio (Rosabell), Clarence Clostio, Nolan Clostio, Aurora “Ora” Clostio Dartez (Oliver “Yute”), Annie Clostio Viator (Affray), and Theresa Clostio Moore (Donald). A special heartfelt thanks to all the caring and loving staff of Encompass Home Health Services and Hospice Care – especially Dr. Benson Phillips, Kerry Constantin, Denise Westbrook, Myra Gaxiola-Hernandez, Linda Searcy, and Cindy McKinney. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend visitation at Vincent Funeral Home, 300 N Eleazar Avenue, Kaplan LA 70548 on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a rosary being prayed at 6:30 pm; Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 8:00 am until the procession departs for Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 602 N Church Street, Kaplan, LA. Entombment will follow at 4:00 pm at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 1225 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, LA 70056. Pallbearers: Scott Burley, Will Burley, Shawn Bell, Clayton Primeaux, Thomas Primeaux, and Eric Primeaux.
