Norma Leech

Norma Smith Leech, 82, died on July 24, 2017 at the Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville, Tennessee. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 18th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, Arlington, with rosary being said at 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to The Baptist Reynolds Hospice House, 1520 W. Poplar, Collierville, Tennessee 38017 or St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 1200 S. Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas 76013. Norma was born on March 17, 1935 in Kingsley, Kansas, the daughter of Dale and Ellen Smith. She graduated from Kingsley High School in 1953. Norma attended St. Joseph Nursing School in Wichita, Kansas from which she graduated and continued her nursing career there for several years before moving to Arizona. She moved to Arlington, Texas in 1967 and continued working as a nurse until her retirement. Norma was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Arlington. Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal. Love leaves memories that no one can steal. Survivors: Sister, Carol Barlovic of Collierville, Tennessee; two brothers, Donald Smith (Gail) of Monroe, Georgia and Joe Smith of Lee's Summit, Missouri; 12 nieces and nephews; and 21 great-nieces and nephews.
