Nora Teresa Kasten-Gaddis, 67, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022 in Arlington, Texas.
Nora was born on May 25, 1955 in Richland Hills, Texas to Wilbur Albert Kasten and Dolores Honora Kasten. She graduated from Richland Hills High School. Nora received her Bachelor’s degree from UT Austin. She worked as a teacher for over 30 years. She loved all of her children. Nora retired as an American History teacher at Gunn Junior High School.
She was an avid Texas Rangers Baseball Club fan and met her husband when they were both employed with the Rangers in 1986. She and Richard Otis Gaddis met as ushers at the original Turnpike stadium.
Nora loved going to movies and traveling to Port Aransas. She enjoyed the holidays, especially St. Patrick’s Day. Nora dearly loved her children and family. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wilbur Albert Kasten; mother Dolores Honora Kasten, brother, Kirby Albert Kasten; and sister, Katherine Mary Kasten.
Survivors: Husband, Richard Otis Gaddis; daughters, Macy Rose Gaddis, Colleen Dolores Brian and husband, Aaron, and step-daughter, Amanda Cordeil Gaddis; brothers, William Albert Kasten and wife, Vickie, Brian Kasten, and Ronald Kirk Kasten and partner, Ed Ezero; sister in law Jackie Kasten & neice Keisha King; nephews Kirby & Nathan Kasten.
