Nora Das

Nora Das, of Arlington First Ward, of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Arlington, TX, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, in Arlington, TX. She will always be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend to all that knew and loved her. She was born on Saturday, December 1, 1928, in New Delhi, India to Patrick Louise and Alfreda Roy. Nora attended Gange High School in New Delhi India, Mayo Clinic Nursing school in Lahore, Pakistan. She enjoyed knitting and quilting. She was a nurse for 35 years and a pioneer member of the church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints.
Nora is survived by her daughter Maureen Das Jenkins, Son John Andrew Das; grandchildren, Sophia Das, Brandon Das, Manley Das, Gabriel Das, Andre Das, Donald Warren, Regina Warren Hamilton, Jonathan Warren and 8 great grandchildren.
Nora was preceded in death by her husband Baldwin Das; parents; son, Brian Das; brother, Henry Brooks, Simon Brooks, Benjimen Roy; sisters, Luisa Roy Robinson, Elizabeth Roy and another sister.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 am to 10:00 am on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022, followed by the Memorial Service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on January 22nd, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 3809 Curt Dr. Arlington TX 76016. There will be a graveside Service at Moore Memorial Gardens in Arlington starting from 11:15am to 12:15pm
