Nona Faye Appel

FORT WORTH -- Nona Faye Appel, 56, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2014, in Fort Worth. Memorial service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Northwest Baptist Church, 1003 Oakwood Lane, Arlington 76012. Nona was born May 4, 1957, in Fort Worth to Lewis Ray Garvin and Shirley Palmer Zepeda. She was a longtime Fort Worth resident and taught at Tarrant County Community College and Columbia College Fort Worth. Survivors: Mother, Shirley Zepeda and husband, Arthur; father, Lewis Garvin and wife, Katherine; brothers, Matthew Ray and Stephen Michael Yeathermon; and a host of family and friends.
