ARLINGTON -- Noah Cunnie Wooten, 84, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, in Arlington.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Fielder Road Baptist Church, 2011 South Fielder Road, Arlington, the Rev. Jerry Morris and Dr. Gary Smith officiating. Graveside service: 3 p.m. in Oakwood Cemetery, Corsicana. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Noah's name to the Michael Gilles Purgason Foundation (for young doctor's), 2007 Misty Creek Drive, Arlington, Texas 76017, or a charity of your choice.
Noah was born June 23, 1928, in Emhouse, to Burns and Ola May Wooten. He was a retired Arlington police officer and retired from the Texas Municipal League. Noah loved his family and all his friends. He never met a stranger.
Survivors: Wife, Betty; son, Chad and wife, Crystal; granddaughter, Callie; grandson, Chase; and brother, Ronald Tim and wife, Sandy.
