Nelda Ann Love

Nelda Ann Love, 86, passed away in Austin, Texas on June 28, 2023.

Nelda was born March 2, 1937 in Ennis, Texas to Erwin L. McCollum and Ethel May Oliver. She graduated from Ennis High School in 1955. She married Franklin (Frank) Love on August 17, 1956 and they remained married until his death in 1988.

Nelda worked at McCollum Food Town with her brother Bennie McCollum and also worked at A&P Grocery as a cashier. She later owned and worked at FNL Vending with her husband Frank. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, scrapbooking, genealogy and playing games.

Nelda lived in Arlington, Texas until she moved to Austin, Texas in 2019. She lived at Colonial Gardens Memory Care in Austin until her death.

Nelda was preceded in death by her husband Frank; parents Erwin L. McCollum and Ethel May McCollum; and brothers Bennie McCollum and Lonnie McCollum.

She is survived by her son Donald and his wife JoEllen and son David and his wife Sharon; grandchildren Nicole Love and her wife Deb, Franky Love, Matthew Love and his wife Shelby, Zachary Zeiller and his wife Vanessa, Marcus Zeiller, Ashley Unsell and Wynne Unsell; three great-grandchildren Kristofer Zeiller, Evelynn Zeiller and Berkley Love; sisters-in-law Doris McCollum, Jeanine Love and Betty Love as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
