On January 13, 2018, after 95 years, Naomi E. Wiles departed this life to join her 8 siblings, 2 daughters, and countless friends in heaven.
Services: Viewing: 4-7 p.m. Sunday, January 21, in the Sanctuary of First Baptist Church of Arlington.
Funeral: Friday, January 26, 2:00 p.m. at People's Chapel Funeral Home in Hueytown, Alabama. Visitation: 12:30-2:00 p.m. Burial: Highland Memorial Gardens in Birmingham, Alabama.

Naomi was born August 3, 1922 in Griffin, Georgia. She married the love of her life, Marvin Wiles, on August 18, 1939. They enjoyed 69 years of marriage until his death in 2008.
Naomi was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her Lord and her family. She was sweet, gracious and quite the fashionable lady. Everyone who knew Naomi loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Wiles, her daughter, Lynda Thames, and an infant daughter.
Survivors: Children: M. Emerson Wiles, Jr. and his wife, Mary, Tommy Wiles and his wife, Martha, Dennis Wiles and his wife, Cindy, and son-in-law, James Thames. Also, 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
