Nancy Ruth Kidd, 80, passed away January 13, 2021 in Arlington. Funeral: 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 25, 2021 at Wade Family Funeral Home, Arlington. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at the funeral home. Graveside: Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery Lane 3 on March 1, 2021 at 11:00 am. Nancy was born July 28, 1940 in Dallas to Don Wenzell Talbert and Vera Prestridge Talbert. She grew up in Fort Worth and graduated from the University of North Texas. Nancy taught business classes for 2 years at McLean Middle School, a year at Bowie High School and 24 years at Arlington High School. She retired in 2001. Nancy was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed attending many Arlington High School sporting events, even after retirement. Shopping was one of her favorite pastimes and she loved spoiling her grandchildren. Nancy was preceded in death by her infant son, Bryan Allen Kidd; and granddaughter, Laurenne Krystean Hall. Survivors: Husband of 59 years, Max Allen Kidd; son, John Talbert Kidd and wife, Amy; daughter, Kimberly Kidd Sutphin and husband, Taeger; grandchildren, Morgan Ashlynn Rios and husband, Joey, Dani Leigh Baker, Vance Allen Miller, Brendon Jack Kidd and Ethan Thomas Kidd; great-granddaughter, Aurora Jade Baker; sister, Donnelle Cooper and husband, Rick, brother-in-law, Lloyd Kidd and wife, Barbara; niece, Amber Yates and husband, Cory and their children, London and Cooper.
