Nancy Ellen Murphy, born on December 23, 1955, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Milford R. Murphy and Valerie Elma Boudreaux Murphy, passed away on July 7, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion.
Nancy was the cherished sister of Patty Murphy and Susan Murphy. She graduated in May 1978 from Veda Knox School, marking the beginning of a life filled with achievements and passions. One of her proudest moments was winning first place at the Chisholm Challenge in 2007 with Wings of Hope, an organization close to her heart.
Nancy had a deep love for all animals, with a special affection for horses. She loved going out on the family boat to fish. Her heart was full of joy during all holidays, but her birthday was her favorite, a time she celebrated with boundless enthusiasm. She enjoyed eating out with family and friends.

Visitation: 9:00-10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 17, at Wade Family Funeral Home Belle Hall, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Graveside Service: 10:30 a.m. at Parkdale Cemetery, Arlington.
Nancy’s kind spirit, love for animals, and joyful celebrations of life will be dearly missed. She will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends.
