ARLINGTON -- Mohamed Moustafa Gomaa, 58, passed away Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, in Arlington.
Funeral: 3 p.m. Wednesday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington, with Rev. Phil Hunt and Rev. Bob Hurt officiating. Interment: Hawkins Cemetery, Arlington. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mohamed was born Aug. 13, 1956, in Matubus, Egypt. He was raised in Egypt and later served as a police officer in the Egyptian Army. Mohamed was a gifted athlete and played professional soccer while in Egypt.
Mohamed was a longtime resident of McKinney and most recently of Arlington. He worked for the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport as a project manager. His interests' involved cooking and eating and he loved to play golf.
Mohamed was preceded in death by his father and one brother.
Survivors: Wife, Tamara Siverson Gomaa; his mother; sons, Yusuf Mohamed Siverson Gomaa, James Edward Sickles and Justin William Sickles; daughter, Jessica Ann Sickles; five brothers; one sister; and grandson, Evan James Sickles.
