Mrs. Mitzi Jane Moore

Mitzi Jane Schmidt Moore, 69, of Arlington, Texas, passed away at home on November 5, 2023, with her husband of 41 years, Jim Moore at her side.

Mitzi was born on May 7, 1954 to Eddie and Mary Schmidt in Fort Worth, Texas. After Mitzi Schmidt graduated from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas, in 1977, she went on to study to become a paralegal, eventually working for Cantey Hanger in Fort Worth, Texas for over 30 years.

Mitzi Schmidt married James (Jim) W. Moore in 1982. Mitzi and Jim went on to have two children, Sheena Moore and Carson Moore.

Mitzi is survived by her husband, Jim Moore, her daughter, Sheena Moore, her son, Carson Moore, her brother, Eddie Schmidt II of Houston, and her sister, Terry Schmidt Paschich of El Paso.

A memorial service will be held at Wade Family Funeral Home in Arlington on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 11:00am, with a reception held immediately after the service at the funeral home.
