Mike Strange

Mike Strange, 74, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017 in Arlington. Mike was born on June 23, 1943 in Van Nuys, California to Harold Morgan and Edna Betty (Kleeman) Strange. After graduation from high school he entered the U.S. Navy and served in Vietnam. After 6 years in the service, Mike earned his Associates degree and went to work as Vice- President of Operations with American Airlines. He married Joanne L. Nicklas in 1991 and moved to Arkansas, and upon retirement in 2001, they returned to Arlington. They loved traveling and spending family time with their children and grandchildren, who were the light of his life. Mike is preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Lee in 2012 and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Joanne; one son, David Strange and wife, Maureen; one daughter, Julie Duffey and husband, Michael; five grandchildren, Shaun Lee, Caitlin Griese, Steven Strange, Ryan Lee, and Carley Duffey.
