Michele Cavuoti Kelsey passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017 in Arlington.
Funeral Services: Visitation: 6 - 8 p.m., Friday, September 22, 2017 at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Pkwy. Arlington. Funeral: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 23, 2017, at Most Blessed Sacrament, 2100 N. Davis Dr., Arlington. Burial: At a later date at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington DC.

Michele was born on February 19, 1952 in Glen Cove NY to parents Clinton and Olga Cavuoti. She graduated in 1975 with a Bachelors of Science in physical therapy at the State University of New York in Buffalo NY.
She started as a physical therapist for the VNA in 1975. Her professional career in the area of home health care began with patient treatment, which was always performed with the highest skill level, professionalism, and sincere compassion for her patients. As a manager of several therapy units, Michele treated all staff with supportive respect and inspired all professionals to maintain a level of superlative care for their patients. She was able to be an effective communicator both with the professional staff and the administrators. Michele's most recent work included review and coding of medical documentation.
She met her future husband Mark Kelsey during a trip to Scotland. They married in Arlington on March 19,1988.
The lights of her life were her husband, her daughter Molly, and her Bichon dog Kirby. She always enjoyed her work and liked to travel, but most importantly she loved spending time with her close friends and family.
Her husband, Mark, preceded her in death. Left to honor and remember her are: Her daughter Molly Brochu; her sister Patricia Whealy and her husband John; her sister Claudia Freeborn and her husband Thomas; her brother Dr. Clinton Cavuoti Jr. and his wife Michiel; her sister Lisa Pool and her husband Allen; her sister Maria Morgan; her brother Dr. Dominick Cavuoti and his wife Dr. Lynn Salzberger; and several nieces and nephews.
