Michael Ray Harris

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Michael Ray Harris. Born on October 3rd, 1951 at Carswell Air Force Base, Michael peacefully departed from this world on April 24th, 2024.

Michael was a talented musician and guitar player, known for his passion for all things Southwest. He was a kind-hearted soul who never met a stranger, and his genuine warmth touched the lives of all who knew him. An avid fly-fisherman, Michael found solace in nature and enjoyed creating his own fly lures to use on his fishing adventures. His love for sports, particularly softball, was evident in his enthusiastic play on the field.

Throughout his career, including his time in college, Michael found fulfillment as a commercial artist, showcasing his creativity and talent in his work. He was a true artist in every sense of the word, bringing beauty and innovation to everything he created.

Michael is survived by his wife Rae-Ann, son Chris, and his beloved puppy Skye. Together with his large extended family, they shared many cherished memories and experiences.

Michael will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his spirit live on in the hearts of those who loved him. Rest in peace, Michael Ray Harris.
