Michael David Brewer

Michael “Mike” David Brewer, 64, of Arlington, Tx, passed away suddenly on Thursday April 28, 2022, after a lifelong struggle with juvenile diabetes.  Michael was born and raised in New Brighton, Pa and graduated from New Brighton High School in 1975. On September 24, 1977, he married his wife Donna Hodnick Brewer. They had 2 children, Luke and Emily. Michael moved his family to Texas in the summer of 1984.  Michael was a skilled carpenter and enjoyed building and creating. He loved his Steelers, win or lose. He also loved his dogs and grand dogs and they adored him; he always had treats on hand. He loved a good cheeseburger and meals with family.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Patricia Brewer; Sisters, Rebecca, Barbara, and Roberta Susan; Brother, Lyndon; and Grandson Pedro Alardin IV (brother). He is survived by his wife of 44 years Donna and son, Luke Brewer (Lauren), daughter, Emily Alardin (Pete), and two Granddaughters, Natalia and Olivia Alardin, all of Arlington TX; Brother, Tim Brewer of Wampum, Pa and Sister, Sharon Kelley of Arlington, TX; along with many nieces and nephews and a host of great friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Wade Funeral Home (4140 West Pioneer Parkway Arlington, Tx 76013).   There will be a viewing on Friday May 6, 2022, from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm and a funeral service on Saturday May 7, 2022, at 11:00 am.  The family asks, in lieu of flowers, to please make contributions in his name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, JDRF.
